As a Chicago lifestyle photographer, I know how important it is that every mama looks and feels their best for any session we have together. In my previous post, I talked about the hair and makeup services included in your experience with me. Today I want to talk about another part of my services– my client closet.
Why Do I Have A Client Closet?
Not every photographer includes or even has a wardrobe for their clients. I am lucky enough to have an incredible studio that I love! In that space is a dedicated closet for all of my clients to use and enjoy.
As a mama myself, I know how difficult it can be to get your kids in their clothes! By the time you do, there’s often little to no time left over for yourself. When I started my photography business, I knew I wanted mamas to have a luxurious experience from start to finish. That’s why I only take on a limited number of clients, offer hair and makeup, and that’s why I have a client closet! I want every mama to be able to have a stress-free, lovely photography experience with me when we work together.
The Styling Process
Once our session is booked, we can begin working on the planning and styling process! In this part of our working together, we can discuss your style, what your goals are for how you want to look on the day of the session, and what you are most confident and comfortable in.
After we have discussed your style goals, we can get to the fun part– choosing your dress(es)! I have a beautiful collection in my client closet, and you can browse some of the selection from the studio wardrobe, but these are not all the dresses I have! There are a variety of gowns, ranging from more simple to a bit more designed. I tend to choose dresses that are neutral-toned, with silhouettes that are wonderful for every body, from eight months pregnant to post-partum.
The most important part of styling is making sure that you feel your most beautiful, and I am so happy to offer dresses that will help make that happen. Plus, you aren’t limited to one dress per session. I want you to be radiant and confident, and not worry about anything at all.
