As a Chicago lifestyle photographer, one of the most important aspects of my work is making sure I provide a soothing environment for baby lead sessions. Whether it’s in the comfort of your home or my studio, your little one decides the posing and the direction of the session.
Lifestyle photography is all about centering the essence of your family and bringing all your little moments to the forefront. Your laughter, love and joy are the best parts of your family that deserve to have their moments in the spotlight. Any session with infants and toddlers are so special; it’s often their first time experiencing being professionally photographed, so I want to be sure to leave a gentle impression.
Even if your little one is sleeping, which is very common in newborn sessions, the environment is so important. Of course, they’ll be comfortable in the home they’re in each day! But, I pride myself on creating a warm and inviting studio space. I make sure to have neutral tones for a classic and timeless look, but also to make sure there’s nothing overwhelming for your little one. Toys are on hand, as well, for growing babies and curious toddlers.
Baby lead photography allows us to work together in a way that benefits your little one. If they need a break, we take one; if they want to sleep, they can snooze soundly. I never put them in uncomfortable poses or give them props they need to be bundled with. Natural, timeless imagery capturing the pure magic of your little one is what I do best.
