This was a stunning outdoor maternity session with Amber and her husband George. They ventured back to their wedding venue, Armour House, where they had their romantic anniversary dinner.
We planned their maternity session just before dinner. I wanted to make sure Amber and George could enjoy their intimate dinner setup just for two. They beautifully gazed over the venue grounds at sunset, reminiscing over the night of their wedding and the anticipation of the arrival of their little one.
Fall sessions can be pretty tricky; we all know how unpredictable the weather can be in the Chicagoland area. Luckily, we had a beautiful and warm evening– although, of course, it was still windy!
I helped Amber and George in styling their outfits. Amber was wearing the Belize dress from my studio wardrobe, and she looked breathtaking. I’m sure George was thinking about how beautiful she looked both then and on their wedding day.
Outdoor location sessions take place two hours before sunset. I shoot outdoor sessions with clients from May through October.
