In-Studio Six Month Milestone Session

I love when I get to see clients for a six month milestone session after doing their at-home newborn session. This is the newborn from last week’s post, and they came to my Hinsdale photography studio to celebrate the six month milestone.

Making albums for my clients is one of my favorite services I offer, so the photos of mama and baby looking through her newborn album was so special. Six months is the age where a baby’s curiosity and mobility really start shining! This little one was so interested in her baby book.

The dresses in this session were beautiful with neutral, soft tones that pair so well with the cool natural light filling my studio. One of my favorites is where the baby is looking over her shoulder. With her chubby cheeks, little beret, and her expression, it looks like a posed, classical oil painting you would find in the Chicago Art Institute.

It’s magical to see the bond between a mother and baby. Moments I was able to capture during this session really emphasize those loving, tender interactions that now they’ll be able to have forever.

I would love to begin planning your in-studio session! My Hinsdale photography studio is the perfect setting. To see more of my portfolio please click over here and get in touch.
