In-Studio Maternity Session

I loved this in-studio maternity session with this stunning couple. Having clients in my studio for maternity sessions is a wonderful opportunity to create an ethereal, glowing atmosphere. Pregnancy is powerful, and I love to make my clients feel beautiful and strong during their maternity sessions.

For every signature session, clients have access to my studio wardrobe and my studio hair and makeup artist. This client remarked how easy it was for her to “just show up in yoga pants.” Having a maternity session should be a completely stress-free, relaxing experience! For her session, she chose three different dresses. All of the looks were pretty different, with each dress providing a shifted energy in the photos than the one before. It’s great to give yourself variety within your session.

The neutral tulle dress that this mom-to-be is wearing in this session reminded me so much of a past maternity session. The flowing, translucent fabric from the dresses in both sessions was captivating. These sessions embodied everything a woman should feel during pregnancy– empowered, radiant, and loving.

This client is a Collective Member and together we’re creating a first-year album for her little one. I am so looking forward to working with them on their future sessions throughout this year, and I can’t wait for baby’s arrival.
