It’s already becoming that time of year! The holidays are around the corner, and the leaves are changing on the trees. If you’re considering a holiday card, I recommend taking a timeless lifestyle family photography approach. Lifestyle photography allows for your family to just enjoy the time together in front of the lens, capturing incredible moments to last a lifetime.
I think holiday cards are often a major topic of debate. Should you send one? Would it be through snail mail, or an E-card? Is an E-card too impersonal? The questions you can ask yourself are endless. I, for one, am a supporter of the holiday card, electronically or otherwise. It’s a way to show the ones in your life that you’re thinking about them, and that you want to share your lives with them. During a time of year all about coming together, a simple little holiday card can mean a lot.
So, you’re sending a card. Now what? There’s still time to book a simplicity session, so you and your little one(s) can be in and out of the studio. This is the season of Santa sessions, but a lifestyle session where you and your family are being yourselves is always timeless. I know it might seem like something you won’t miss, but being able to look back at holiday cards of years past is a truly magical gift.
