I loved having the pleasure to do this maternity session with the Sappenfield family. They had just moved into their new home, so I was lucky enough to capture their excitement for this new journey and new space to fill with memories.
Their adorable two-year-old son Ben had free reign to do what he wanted during the session, giving me the opportunity to photograph his personality. This time with Ben before baby Teddy arrives is so special and filled with the laughter and chaos of a two-year-old.
Mom is taking this time to soak in each little moment of her pregnancy, knowing how beautiful and bonding it is. Along with her excitement and love is a mix of nervousness from not knowing if this pregnancy will be her last. Being able to have these intimate photos will showcase the little details of this pregnancy; they’re excited to create an album and hang artwork after the baby arrives.
