Fall is a breathtaking season in and of itself, but it’s an especially incredible time for Chicago lifestyle photography.
I had the pleasure of working with this wonderful family last fall for their outdoor family photos. Truly such a beautiful family, inside and out. The scenery outside on this day was idyllic; a perfect Autumn day in Chicago. The park had those classic, gorgeous fall colors all over the trees. Fallen leaves on the ground were just the right extra touch to work into some shots as well.
This little boy was absolutely precious; I loved his adorable knit sweater mom styled him in. He was so playful with mom and dad, and curious about his surroundings, all of which made for some amazing shots. I loved how all of their blue eyes looked dazzling against the backdrop of neutral tones.
This outdoor session is just another example of why I deeply love being a Chicago lifestyle photographer. I get to capture such authentic and genuine moments of unfiltered joy and love that cannot be repeated or replicated. Families get to be themselves, be natural, and not have to worry about heavily structured posing.
