Lakeside Lavender Fields Outdoor Newborn Session

“Cristina Hope Photography gave me the gift of timeless photos with my daughters. One day I may not be here, so to know my girls have these forever means everything to me. It is true when people say a picture it worth a thousand words because my moments with them at the Lakeside Lavender Fields were priceless. Cristina has incredible patience and technique. She thinks about every move, yet everything we did was so natural. She has vision and brings it to life. I feel so fortunate to have worked with such talent.

I am a photographer and an artist, so it’s always difficult when you’re the actual subject instead of being behind the camera. From styling my girls and me, she made me feel so comfortable only being two weeks post partum with a caesarean. Our styles collided so naturally, I believe we were meant to cross paths.

The photos have deeply touched me, and my daughters will get to appreciate them in the future. As I scanned the photos, I got glimpses of my mom and me when I was just a little girl. “Be good while I’m gone,” she said. That’s what my mother always told me until she passed away seven years ago. Looking down at both of the girls I see her facial features and I have that to look at for the rest of my lives. This day at Lakeside Lavender Fields was a blessing and a true honor to cherish. Although my mother isn’t with me in the photos, I feel her and am inspired by her strength and passions to create beauty in this world. Life is so beautiful if we just let it be.
