A lifestyle newborn photography session that takes place in your home is magical. Of course, I adore my studio and having newborn sessions there! But, there is an added element to at-home sessions; I get to photograph your family in your own space, and that is truly special.
This gorgeous Lincoln Park home was the perfect backdrop for this session. Its neutral tones, simple decor, and stunning natural light was everything a photographer could dream of! Any time a fur baby is involved, I am over the moon. Animals are such an important part of every family, and of course they need to included in your session! It’s always amazing to see the little bonds that form between your fur baby and newborn, and that should be something you get to cherish forever.
The styling for this session was timeless and classic. When we have a session in your home, I recommend sticking with simple patterns and tones, so that your looks never go out of style or clash with the decor in your space! This precious little one was in some of my favorite looks: cream-colored knits. Going with a white, tan, or cream is always a great option when dressing your newborn. It’s important that your looks all work together cohesively, but aren’t overtly matching. Effortless style is always the goal!
